About Me
Alexandra Orchard is a contemporary romance writer, who is never afraid to tackle intense, hard-hitting and also lighthearted themes with a lot of sweet romance sprinkled in. She loves to mix genres up, so you'll often find a mystery with a romance sprinkled in, or a deep, emotional plot with a lighthearted romance to break it up.
She loves to write books featuring real characters with flaws, emotions and who sometimes never do the right thing, but will always learn something along the way!
Her stories are always full of emotion, sweet moments and romance that takes you off your feet, no matter the subject matter, yet stays grounded in reality.
Alexandra has been writing since the age of 8, and has a degree in Creative Writing from The University of Winchester (UK). When she was 18, she was shortlisted in an award by Malorie Blackman. Her book, The Burden of Us, was traditionally published by Cherry Publishing. In 2022, she was shortlisted with her book, My Blossoming Redemption, for the Watty Awards 2022 on Wattpad, and was a part of their Creator and Paid Programs.
Alex is due to have a book published by Provoco Publishing in 2024.
She lives in the UK (by the sea!) with her husband, son and 2 black cats (who she frequently posts about on Instagram instead of writing!)
